To those new to Craps, it can be confusing there are many ways to make a bet. Craps is played in rounds. The first roll is called the Come Out roll and this sometimes decides the game. Winning numbers are 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12. If you roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, the result is called the Point and you can make another roll. You start the round when the previous shooter does not achieve Point or 7.
The payers around a Craps table will throw the dice in turn. If you don't want to throw, you can get a thrower to throw the dice for you and then bet on that result.
The layout of the Craps table has a center area and two side areas, The side areas are mirror images of each other. You will find these zones in the side areas: Pass and Don't Pass line bets, Come and Don't Come bets, Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets. You will place your Proposition bets in the central area.
Winning/losing plays
Pass Bets - A Come Out roll of 7 or 11 wins. Throwing 2, 3, or 12 loses.
Don't Bets - This is like the Come Out roll, only in reverse situation, where you win with a 2 or 3 and lose with a 7 or 11.
Don't Bets - If you roll 12, you tie. This allows you to make a second and decisive roll.
Types of bets
